Let's start with the most obvious, wine was made to share and drink together.

Our
wines

If balance and precision are the key words, we will explore six different grape varieties in this regard:

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Castet, Mancin des Palus and finally Pineau d'Aunis with seven specific and original cuvées, often going off the beaten track.

From our simple and gourmet cuvées, to those without added sulphite, through the most complex or even those of the rebirth of very old ancestral grape varieties forgotten and aged in jars ...

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

But by the way, don't we just say that the best bottle is an empty bottle?! ..

Whatever the vintage, our guiding principle is balance, precision, expression...

To achieve this, we harvest our grapes at the "right" maturity, carry out "gentle" vinifications (no "forced" extraction but rather in "infusion" mode) at a moderate fermentation temperature (24-28°), then ageing ranging from 8 months to more than 36 months in concrete vats or even in terracotta jars.

A few words

If we start from the adage that "the best bottle is the empty one", I like to think that the wine it contained aroused in us pleasures linked to flavors, sharing, the magic of pairings, freshness, balance and perhaps brought us back to this food notion of "taste" in the noble sense of the term...

So, my intention is to let the typicality of our place, of this "terroir", of this nature express itself through our different red grape varieties which are: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Castets, Mancin des Palus and Pineau d'Aunis.

To remain "as close as possible" to these grapes, in their "energy", with as little intervention as possible; that the hand of man be vigilant and discreet, attentive and sensitive.

I offer you several vintages, ranging from the simplest, with immediate pleasure, "easy and delicious", "Tire pé Diem" and "Tire'vin vite", to "Tire pé", deeper, more complex...

Also a brand new blanc de noir: "Chant blanc", a dry and "energetic" white.

And finally the adventure with our 2 confidential, original and unusual vintages:

La Nomade and l'Échappée, expressions of 3 ancestral and often "forgotten" or even disappeared grape varieties, aged in terracotta jars (already used to preserve wine 6000 years BC, in Georgia in particular...).

“The winegrower’s profession is a whole, a team effort where each of us makes a valuable contribution.

This is what makes it so rich but also so complex, where it can be easy to get lost;

It is up to us to take the time to (re)define our direction, to remain attentive to our intuitions, in connection with a nature which, for its part, continues its own cycles and evolutions."

A big thank you to Hélène, "my" children, Karine, "my" seasonal workers and more broadly to the family without whom this adventure could not exist.
